Most owners know one number. Buyers see two.

There’s what your business is worth today, and what it could be worth once the risks buyers discount for are fixed. The free Value Diagnostic shows you both, and the gap between them.

  • Owner dependence
  • Recurring revenue
  • Customer concentration
  • Clean financials
  • Management depth

Where are you in the process?

Whether you’re ready now, a few years out or looking to buy, the work starts with knowing the real numbers.

  • Ready to sell

Pricing grounded in how buyers and lenders actually value a business, confidential marketing to qualified buyers, and hands-on help through negotiation, financing and closing.

    Talk about selling
  • Grow the value, then sell

A broker who knows how deals get funded

Before business brokerage, I spent more than 20 years in lending. That changes how I price and structure a sale. I know what a lender needs to see, how SBA financing and seller notes fit together, and where deals fall apart when the numbers don’t hold up.

Today I work with First Choice Business Brokers Dallas Metro, helping owners plan their exit, find out what their business is really worth and sell it on their terms.

Common questions

Straight answers to what owners ask first.

What is my business worth?

Most small and mid-sized businesses sell for a multiple of seller’s discretionary earnings (SDE) or EBITDA, adjusted for risks like customer concentration, owner dependence and recurring revenue. The free Value Diagnostic blends income, market and asset approaches to give you a realistic range.

How long does it take to sell a business?

Most sales take 6 to 12 months from listing to closing. Clean financials, a business that runs without you and a realistic price shorten the timeline.

Will my employees and customers find out?

Not unless you want them to. Your business is marketed with a blind profile, and buyers sign an NDA and show they can pay before they learn its name or see financials.

How much does a business broker cost?

There’s no upfront fee. I’m paid a success fee at closing, so you only pay when your business sells.

I’m not ready to sell yet. Can you still help?

Yes. Planning one to three years ahead is where most value gets created, by working on what buyers pay for, like management depth, recurring revenue and clean books.
